Arbor Real Estate's Casey O'Connor Group attended The Luxury Property Showcase (LPS) held in Shanghai, China in December. LPS is an invitation-only event that exclusively welcomes elite agencies from around the world. This year it hosted more than 12,000 prequalified Chinese buyers and investors.

Casey and her team represented Arbor and highlighted our listings in our Arbor-branded, high-end booth. Casey O'Connor, Elis Chong, and Andrey Potapkin distributed marketing materials and met on-the-spot with attendees.

Our China initiative is just one example of how we do things differently at Arbor Real Estate. We believe that by reaching outside of the traditional avenues of marketing homes, we add value to our brokerage, agents and our clients.

Arbor Real Estate was founded on the principles of community, teamwork, and inclusiveness. In keeping with those ideals, for the third year, Arbor distributed profit-sharing checks to our agents for the year of 2018. For the sixth year, Arbor is sponsoring the "Stoke a Student" campaign in partnership with Surfside Sports in Costa Mesa. We are mixing it up this year and instead of giving away a surfboard we are giving away a snowboard to a B-average elementary, junior high school, or high school student in the Newport-Mesa area.

"We are committed to doing things for our community that will have a positive impact," says Arbor Real Estate's Founder, Chris Brigandi. "I'm proud that 'Stoke a Student' has become so successful. Students -- or their parents -- can enter by filling out an entry form available at Surfside Sports. (No purchase necessary.) The

At Arbor giving back to our community is an essential part of our culture. Last Saturday we hosted a beach clean-up in Newport Beach. With the help of Arbor agent Adam Tomalas we were able to gather 50 locals together and spent the morning cleaning the beach we love. After the clean-up, we celebrated with a party at the Arbor offices.
Thank you to everyone who came out to help!

1. Demand Is Strong

The latest Buyer Traffic Report from the National Association of Realtors (NAR) shows that buyer demand remains very strong throughout the vast majority of the country. These buyers are ready, willing and able to purchase…and are in the market right now! More often than not, multiple buyers are competing with each other to buy the same home.

Take advantage of the buyer activity currently in the market.

2. There Is Less Competition Now

Housing inventory has declined year-over-year for the last 35 months and is still under the 6-month supply needed for a normal
